Cain, the first-born son of Adam and Eve, first spoke these words after he murdered his brother, Able. God held Cain accountable for his sin, and he was cursed. [Gen 4:9-11].
You cannot take my life because
I lay it down willingly.
I give my life, so that you may live.
Sometimes God gives us a promise, but we don’t see it fast enough, so we start to develop a plan B just like Sarai did when she gave her maidservant, Hagar, to Abram. That story in Genesis Chapter 16 is supposed to teach us something about faith. Here’s how I applied the Word to my life. I pray it blesses you.
As a follow up – God did indeed deliver that very day miraculously and above what I asked for.
